Rock Your Body

Sweater/Warehouse . Shorts/DIY . Boots/Primark . Bag/Primark . Sunglasses/New Look

Last weekend was a mixture of glitter, friends, dry shampoo, dancing and loud music. Pretty good weekend, huh? Of course, I'm talking about V Fest- the perfect excuse to smear glitter across your cheeks and dance to Justin Timberlake. I considered taking outfit snaps whilst I was there, but in the end I decided to take the weekend away from the internet. For a more authentic outfit you'll need your imagination here- swap the ankle boots for wellies and my front door for a field.

Since we last spoke I haven't got the chance to update you (unless you follow me on twitter) but the exciting news is that I won't be standing in front on this door much longer! It's officially official, next month I'm headed to Leeds University. I couldn't be more excited to share it with you. So that's what's going on with me right now, but let me know what's been happening with you too!

Coachella Plans

Every year I look (and swoon) at the lineup for Coachella. This year is no exception, with some of my favourites performing: Alt-J, Ben Howard, Disclosure, Jake Bugg, Knife Party, Jessie Ware and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers among others. I'm so jealous of anyone that gets the chance to go.

To try and cheer myself up I've promised myself that I will go one day, and I've been musing over what I would wear when there. I've put together three outfits which I thought I might share with you!

Inspired by a favourite of mine- Cara Delevingne. I love both her style and personality, and what she is wearing here is so simple and casual. Perfect for Coachella!

The beautiful Isabella from the blog Views of Now! I absolutely loved this post, and knew I really wanted to try and recreate it. I found these really cool backless boots, which I thought added another twist to the outfit.

I like how casual this is, whilst still staying feminine. I wish I would have found an image of the original skirt, but I found this gorgeous one by Jack Wills instead. The pretty floral detail balances out the masculinity of the over-sized tee and converse.

Summer Wishing

Summer Wishing
After all the snow we've had in Derbyshire this week I cannot wait until Summer! So, just to emphasise how wintery the weather is, I went on Polyvore and got some inspiration!

It's Time: Part II

(Top, Skirt, Necklace- Primark, Boots- Asda, Hat- Topshop)
As I mentioned earlier, here is the 2nd part to my post: It's Time! To those wondering, this title was chosen for two reasons... 1) It's my first outfit post! 2) It's the lyrics to one of my favourite songs, called "It's Time". Funny, that?!
So these are the photos I took of my cousin. We had a lot of fun doing this, because it involved wandering around a field down the road from my house to find pretty trees and walls to shoot with.

It's Time To Begin, Isn't It?

(Hat- Topshop, Top- H&M, Necklace and Jeans- New Look, Boots- Dorothy Perkins)
Hi Everyone! I am super super excited, this is my first outfit post! I had loads of fun shooting this today with my cousin Jodie. Despite the photos, it was incredibly cold today. (In one photo you see a test shot of me in my fluffy winter coat. This proves how cold it was!)
Stick around for the next few days to see part two of this shoot- photos of my cousin!
